Im back!!! And better than ever, to quote Bischoff. Before I speak about my thoughts on rumble raw and smackdown I would love to thank each and every one of you for emailing me your thoughts after my last article. It really meant a lot to me. Oh by the way im being sarcastic. But don’t worry im not offended however it would be nice to receive feedback so with note lets get on with the show …….

Rumble thoughts:

I loved the rumble and gave it thumbs up. Like everyone else the Steiner match was pants, but it was so pants it made me enjoy it even more. If I was watching Raven vs. Justin credible and they f*cked up I would be really bored but that was enjoyable especially after the 5 week hype. I found the Benoit vs. Angle to be very slow and really bored me. O sorry I was still talking about Steiner’s match. Angle and Benoit put on one hell of a show. The ovation at the end made the hairs at the back of my neck stand up. Dawn Marie and tag match was the usual disappointment. O well not everything on a ppv can be perfect.

Onto the Rumble itself, I was watching it with my friend Andrew and we decided to spice up rumble by randomly predicting 5 numbers as our entrants. This did make the rumble itself much more entertaining. I got Kane, RVD, and a few jobbers. I do recommend this for future rumbles. The start of the rumble was brilliant having the fake Jericho made me laugh. Rey was amazing and so was Edge. Then the rumble slowed down and got quite boring with 3MW, Tajiri, Bill Demott, Rikishi, Test, A-train and the usual jobbers. What I loved most was the Hardys together as well as Edge and Christian. The end of the Rumble was fairly predictable but when the last entrant came out both me and Andrew looked at each other and sighed purely because dead man was back but as the ‘American badass’ whoopee. Taker please please please turn heel. Brock winning was cool and im happy. I just hope they now have a solid 2 month build-up.

Raw:

So Bischoff comes out and makes the most predictable statement ever, one that in fact 24 hours earlier I predicted word for word. I just hope Stone Cold does turn up because the fans will be so mad if they pay and he doesn’t. The WWE really need to know what they are doing with this angle. I liked how they are forming the new 2003 Horsemen. Randy Orton will prove to be a valued member. And why oh why did Steiner get allowed to appear in the main event. Did they not realise that 24 hrs earlier he alone f*cked up. I loved HHH shoot comment at the start of the show. The matches were the usual bore as ever. 23 days to go Bischoff, maybe you should next address the state of the matches.

Smackdown:

This contains spoilers so if you don’t want to know tough!!!!

Everyone seems to be making out that Hogan back is the biggest shock of them all. I can understand if I was there it would have been mad, but here is another wrestler like Steiner who simply cannot wrestle. It also looks like McMahon VS Hogan is set for either No Way Out or Mania itself depending on build-up. I really thought Stephanie was going to introduce the Rock back.

The matches were much better than Raw except a couple, ****cough***** A-TRAIN**** cough. I am a little disappointed that Angle never mentioned anything to do with Lesner winning rumble or Heyman to that point.

Random Druback thoughts:

• Why didn’t Rock come back on Smackdown
• If stone cold does come back at No Way Out I think he should go to Smackdown he suits that show much better and Rock should go to Raw.
• Raven got fired, what a shame, so much for that all important push.
• Why didn’t Jericho last till the end of the Rumble that would have made it so much more interesting?
• Who are Angle and Brock gonna face at No Way Out????
