Hosts Lance Russel and Jerry Lawler

The show opens with Lance Russel advertising the Throwback 2 card at the Memphis Midsouth Coliseum on August 28th with the main event of Terry Funk and Cory Maclin vs Jimmy Hart and Jerry Lawler. Jerry Lawler walks in and helps himself to a seat and asks if he just heard his name. Lance Russel then says that the seat was reserved for someone else and that he does not want any trouble especially with all the problems that you have been causing. Lawler, there will be no problems. this will be a great show. Look at those notes!!!! where is my name? Come on my name is at the bottom. Lance asks Lawler to leave.

lance mentions that it will be the last appearance of Jimmy Valiant. Jerry Lawler gestures like he is praying. Lawler, it is called Valiant's farewell tour. So far his Farewell tour has been very successful. He has outrun every audience. It is very embarrassing to see Handsome Jimmy with his long beard being chased by two undertakers with shovels. Lance, Many a nights at the Midsouth Coliseum thousands have seen handsome Jimmy and they loved him. Jerry does a weird grin and makes a waving motion. to pay back and say bye to Jimmy.


They show a recorded telephone interview with Handsome Jimmy from the previous Saturday while they show a video in the background. They have Jimmy valiant on the phone. Don't miss this. It will be next sat
I will be at live TV and then at the Coliseum. Cory will be there and I
will see all my people. Lance Russel will be there. Jimmy Valiant says it
as only Jimmy Valiant can say it.

Lawler pretends to fall asleep and he wakes up. Lawler, When God said let their be light,Handsome Jimmy threw the switch. Lawler mentions the stink face match. Lance thought it was a typo. Lawler refers to the Sexy Assassins as jobronis and that Brian Christopher is bringing in Rikishi. Brian has been doing some special training for the match. Brian starts the discussion about his
match by clutching his stomach and he lays out an aerial bomb. They show a
clip of Rikishi giving a stink face to Trish Stratus. Not only will Rikishi
be giving a stink face but I will. I am not gonna use toilet paper,bath
or shower or use deodorant. I am gonna stink like high heaven. Brian puts his
gum on the table and starts to eat the pork and beans. Brian clutches his
stomach again and breaks wind. Brian Christopher really breaks wind a lot .
For breakfast I had a bowl of pinto beans. Lunch I had Lima beans with a
side order of black beans and when my stomach settled down, I had had a bowl
of red beans and rice. Forget the rice, I had red beans and Tabasco sauce.
I top it off at the end of the night with pork and beans. Beans Beans is
good for the heart , the more you eat the more you _ _ _ _ . Brian then
says another aerial bomb. I am going to be ready to explode it is gonna
beans one of the greatest days of my life. Brian then giggles and lays
another aerial bombardment. Jerry Lawler starts laughing. Lawler, you want to take a break while I regain my composure. One more thing , Lance, Pull my finger. Lawler starts laughing some more.

Hey Jerry!!!! He does it much like Marlon Brando in creaming Stella in a
Streetcar named desire. I hate your guts. I hate you. I cannot believe
that somebody told me who my favorite wrestling legends, he names all the
wrestlers and terry Funk thinks that he is about to say Terry Funk but the
fan says Jerry Lawler. Terry says why each can be in the group but cannot
understand why Lawler is in the group. He says that Jimmy Hart would share
a room with him and Hogan and steal their pocket change. I am gonna give
this splinter back to Jerry Lawler. Cory, Help is on the way.


They show all the stuff that went down between Cory Maclin and Jerry Lawler with Lawler pildriving Cory to the last show.





Jerry, Lawler that was road rage and that was crossing the line. I made a star of Cory Maclin. I have Terry Funk's horse with me. Jerry Lawler shows a tube of glue. When I am done with you Terry Funk you will be in a glue bottle. I promise this will be the last time you see Cory,Terry and Jimmy Valiant in Memphis TN. You are taking Terry Funk's side. I am not above knocking the announcer's lights out.

They show a Cory Maclin interview with a huge picture of Jerry Lawler vs Terry Funk at the Coliseum with Lawler holding a splinter. Funk sent me this picture. Mary, Why do we have you separated. We go back a long way and he has a load of Tattoos. Mary Beth I can show you my tattoos. Lawler, this is a family show. we gave each other scars. Finally he is hanging it up. Alex why do you think that he needs to hang it up. Lawler, he looks like Moses over there. speaking of Moses when God said let their be light he flipped the switch. There is some crispy creme donuts. You need to eat a couple of them. if you put a nickel on his head then he would look like a nail. Handsome Jimmy, in 1964 I started wrestling and this is 2004. that is 40 years. I used to change Lawler's diapers. I am coming home for the last time. Lawler is a legend and I take off my hat to the guy but he did something wrong and that was what he did to my brother Cory. We are bringing in terry Funk to get revenge. Lawler, You know the history between me and Terry Funk. We could not warm up to each other if we were cremated together. I am gonna piledrive Cory and he will have to unzip his pants to brush his teeth.

They show the highlights of went down between Jerry Lawler and Cory Maclin from Cory introducing Terry Funk as his partner and Lawler pildriving Cory Maclin, Maclin in the Dr's;s office discussing the situation and last week where Cory enters the TV studio with the baseball bats screaming. The Car pulls up to the door and Cory comes out in
all black clothes with two baseball bats and goes into the studio and calls
out Lawler and Hart. The fans start a Cory chant. I have not forgotten what
you guys done to me. I sat in the hospital for three days. You don't know
melt Will hot a the coliseum. Cory screams a lot. Bring it on Lawler. It
will be like a pile of neck bones, boy!!!!!!!!!!

They have Lance and Brian Teigland at the desk with the fans doing a Terry chant. They announce who will be on the show Handsome Jimmy,Bill Dundee, Kevin White,also look at Rikishi,Brian Christopher and Mordecai.

The first match of the day is a Cruiserweight title match. Kid Kash(champion) vs Johnny Dodson. While the match is going on, Spiderman sits on the ring rope. Spiderman does a crossbody block. and the pizza hut mascot comes out.
Winner:via dq Kid Kash.

Kid Kash at the announcers desk. This is no way to treat the Cruiserweight champion. I gonna take care of Spiderman tonight and rip the head off that goon.

They show a video of Kevin White and Koko Ware confronting each other with Koko having hammer in his pants and trying to hit White with the hammer. They have Kamala singing and getting attacked by Bill Dundee and Kamala breaking Dundee arm with the ring bell and Koko trying to break Dundee's arm but White making the save. They show a interview with Hart, Kamala and Koko. Koko, Tonight is your last night, Kevin White

Bill Dundee and Kevin White come out to cheers. Kevin, we are not leaving the coliseum with a loss. Bill Dundee, There is no impersonating, no dancing. There will be fighting over 20 years I have been fighting in Memphis.



The Ladies champion Christi Ricci comes out. I have a challenge tonight and the challenge is Miss Kelly. As far as I am concerned that is not a challenge as I have never heard of the chick before. What is up with your Chauvinistic attitude? I am talking about the rumble tonight. The all male rumble for 25 grand? I don't want to be watching. I want to be in the ring. I don't care what sized men you have in the ring. It is amazing what someone will do for 25 grand. Miss Kelly comes out, You may not know who I am but you will be when I take your title from your cold hands. Christi, I am gonna win the 25,shock the world and come out with my title. Shock comes out. Shock, did you say that you will shock the world? Tell you what Honey bunny. Do you think that you can actually throw me over the top rope. Don't even answer it. Watch this. They show a Shock video with Shock working out and waling the street with Jimmy Hart. I am still gonna be the champion over Mordecai and Mable. Mordecai comes out. Mordecai, I don't think that you will be walking out with the title. Mable comes out. The fans do a Mable chant. You see what the people think. I beat both of you. I am going out with both titles.

Handsome Jimmy comes out to Boy from New York city song and shakes hands with the fans at ringside. Handsome Jimmy mentions that he has been wrestling for 40 years. Jerry Lawler and Jimmy Hart come out. Jerry, I am listening to Handsome Jimmy Valiant one of my childhood heroes announce that he is hanging it up. tell them that it ain't so? You and me have so many memories at the Midsouth Coliseum. We have put so many scars on each other. We cannot live without you Handsome Jimmy. You don't need to retire. You need to change things a little bit. You need a new look. Have you seen those shows where they do a makeover. All you need is a makeover. You can continue to wrestle for years and years. You have been wrestling for years. Handsome Jimmy swam in the Dead sea when it was just sick. What about the clothes? The shoes. Hart, they are so 1956. Jimmy Valiant then starts to hit Hart. Lawler hits Jimmy Valiant from behind. Lawler,He needs a makeover. The fans cheer Terry Funk. Lawler holds down Valiant while Jimmy Hart knocks him out with either. Most Dr's give liposuction when they do a makeover but he cannot lose any more fat or we would have to file a missing persons report. Come on hurry bring some food for this man. Hart hands Lawler some Little Debbie cakes and Lawler stuffs it in Valiants mouth. We need to do something about the beard. Hart hands Lawler some scissors and Lawler cuts Valiant's beard. They show Handsome Jimmy getting carried out with the Memphis wrestling official and spitting out Little Debbie cakes.


Cory Maclin comes out. Lawler got a Little laugh. That was ridiculous. I don't wannabe a wrestler. I am gonna show you I am a man. I don't care no matter what. Corey starts throwing baseball bats. I got a ride for you Jerry Lawler. Cory rolls out a coffin with Lawler's name on it. I have friends that take care of the living and the dead. Jimmy Valiant comes out. Jerry and Jimmy, May God have mercy on your lives!!!! You have crossed the line!!!!! Cory , I want you as a special referee. Jimmy Hart, I will be Glad to!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cory, I am coming with both fists cocked and am looking for a fight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They show a terry Funk interview. Terry Funk tells how he can see fine in one eye but not the other. Lawler come closer I want you to see the hate in my face. Authors note. Terry Funk is really showing a lot of hate in his face. Do you see that hate, Lawler, Do you see that hate? Tonight, I will be in the ring with you and add some closure and I don't mind if I die closing it out.

Rikishi comes out. . Whats up, Memphis Tn!!!!!!!!!!What is going on with Brian Christopher/ He picked me up at the airport and I never smelled anyone smell so bad. Did somebody turn off the shower? Brian Christopher comes out. Brian, I just got figured out. My stomach has been rumbling all day. Brian puts the mike to his butt and lays an Aeriel bomb. How embarrassing will that be for the sexy assassins. Those beans have got to me. It is only temporary. Brian lays another Aeriel bomb. I don't need to go tot he bathroom.
They show a Sexy Assassin video with the Assassins wearing Brian Christopher's clothes. Brian you will be smelling all the butts fumes. Brian then lays another Aeriel bomb.

The sexy Assassins come in to Brian's music and wearing his clothes.


The second match of the day is The Sexy assassins vs The Infernos. Tim makes the pin after after hip hop drop off the top rope.
Winners:The Sexy Assassins.

Jerry Lawler and Jimmy Hart come out. Lawler berates the announcers. The fans start a Terry Funk chant. shut up!!!!!!!! Terry Funk is here to do your dirty work. Only one person will leave is that terry Funk . When I am done Terry Funk will have no eyes. This will be your final stop on your tonight Jimmy Valiant. I want to have a warm up before tonight.

The third match of the day is Kevin White vs Jerry Lawler. Cory asks Kevin to stand aside. Cory gets in the ring and runs all over the place with Lawler giving chase. Terry Funk pops out of the coffin. Terry Funk chases Jerry Lawler. Terry Funk has the piece of wood that put his eye out with.

Thought I throw in some details about the matches.

Brian Teigland and Lance Russel come out to the Memphis Wrestling
music. Brian asks if we're for wrestling, etc.

First Match: Life Guards vs Infernos- It was OK match, the Life
Guards basically control the match through out, some high risk moves.
In the end, one of Life Guards gets the win with the flying body
press.

Second Match: Nicholas Doom vs Johnny Dotson- This was a pretty good
match. Both guys did a lot impressive moves. I'm really impressed
with Johnny, he's got potential to be a great Cruiserweight. In the
end Nicholas Doom wins by pinning Dotson while Doom has his feet on
the ropes.

3rd match: Womens Title match(no title belt present actually) Christi
Ricci vs Miss Kelly. Kelly taunts Ricci before we really get into the
match. Pretty good moves from Christi, Miss Kelly has some OK moves.
Christi wins the match, and before she lives stomps on Miss Kelly.

4th match: Cruiserweight Title Kid Kash vs Spiderman(comes out
shooting silly string webbing in the crowd) Pretty good match, back
and forth between Kash and Spiderman, Kash eventually gets Spiderman
tied in the ropes and wells on him and trying to take the mask off,
Rashaad Devine(sp) is trying to get Kash let Spiderman out and after
several times being shoved by Kash, Devine calls for the bell,
Spiderman wins by dq, afterword Kash grabs Devine, beats him up, rips
of Devine's neck brace, and pedigrees Rashaad. Spiderman and others
help Rashaad to the back.(note that's the last we see of Devine as
Jerry Calhoun would ref the rest of the matches)

5th match: Double Title Triple Threat. Shock and Mordecai Double team
Mable and beat him up, then both try to pin Mable with each other
pulling the other off. Back and forth between everybody, Mable gets
knocked down at one point which allows Shock to hit Mordecai with a
powerslam I believe to get the win. after the match and Shock leaves
Mable gets up and grabs Mordecai and slams him. (Mable and Shock
retain their titles)

6th Match Grudge Tag Match: Bill Dundee and Kevin White vs Koko B
Ware and Kamala. Highlights: Bill Dundee low blow to Kamala. some OK
moves by everyone. At the end everybody is in the ring and while the
ref is dealing Bill Dundee and Kamala. Koko use the brass knucks and
knocks out Kevin White to get the win.

7th Match the Battle Royal: Highlights: Christi Ricci came out late,
and said on the mic she wanted in I guess(the mic volume was real low
so I couldn't hear a thing she said). She gets in a immediately gets
beat down by Kid Kash, after she gets back up Shock levels her, then
she gets back up and Kid Kash goes after her again. She did get help
from Bill Dundee and Kevin White and some others, Dundee held Kash
and let her beat on him. In the end it was down to Kash, Jimmy
Valiant, Kevin White and Mordecai, Valiant Eliminates Kash and then
heads over where both Kevin and Mordecai are both barely hanging over
and dumps them both out winning the $25,000. Valiant celebrates by
kissing Jerry Calhoun, kissing and rubbing Guy Coffee's head, and
Kevin White comes back in and celebrates with Jimmy.

8th Match: The Stink Face Match: Some close calls by Rikishi on Tim
and Flex. Brian attempts stink face a couple of times. Tim and Flex
also had there shots at ones. In the end, Flex is smashed in the
corner and gets the stink face by Rikishi. After the match Brian
tells Rikishi no dancing tonight, he wants to give a stink face,
Rikishi says he's out of here wants no part of it. While Brian moves
Flex again in the corner gets ready to give a stink face with his
pants down, out of the crowd comes Doug Gilbert who beats Christopher
with a baseball bat and Tim and Flex help Doug Rikishi runs back and
helps Brian. Doug gets on the mic and says that it wouldn't be an
wrestling event without him and that he challenge Brian and Rikishi
to bring Scotty 2 Hotty to the next event at the coliseum for a six
man match. Doug, Tim, and Flex leave to boos(I guess their bad guys
now, although I thought Brian was suppossed to be the bad guy, go
figure)

Final Match: Terry Funk and Cory vs Jerry Lawler and Jimmy Hart
Highlights: Funk slammed into the coffin, then gets out of it and
drags it into the ring. Funk produces the wood splinter and gets the
mic and says that everyone with kids should take them out because
he's going to poke a man's eye out. He proceed to try and jab the
stick but Lawler blocks it. Jimmy Hart throws powder in Terry's face,
then Lawler uses the Splinter to bust Terry open. Lawler and Funk
both use the coffin on each other, and ends up spilling outside were
Funk beats Lawler and grabs the mic and cusses Lawler while he hits
him. During the confession Cory I think gets the pin on Hart, all I
know is the bell rings and Jimmy Valiant says Cory and Funk win. Funk
heads to the back while Lawler and Hart beat on Cory and Handsome
Jimmy. I kept telling my uncle where's Terry, suddenly I see somebody
coming back with something on Fire. It's Terry Funk with his branding
iron. Jerry tries to escape the ring but Cory grabs his leg and Funk
brands him and then Jerry and Jimmy Hart escape. Funk threatens to
burn Jimmy Valiant as Jimmy runs around in the ring to avoid the
branding iron, then Funk goes over and helps Cory and hugs Cory.
Jimmy Valiant raises both Terry Funks and Cory hands in the air.

If I missed some spots and things feel free to fill in the blanks.
Overall pretty good event.
