WWE programming is returning to Australia with Smackdown airing on FOX8 starting August 2, and PPVs airing on MAIN EVENT starting with SummerSlam (live) on Monday, August 25 at 10am. 1wrestling has a fan report of Mick Foley's book signing in Lawrenceville, GA last night. RVD's 5 Star Comics will open Tuesday at Lakewood Mall in Lakewood, CA and will feature an appearance by Booker T. NWA TNA and Jay Hassman have settled their lawsuit with no payments by either side. J.J. Dillon will be appearing at the August 23 FanSlam Convention in Totowa, NJ. Also expected to attend are Bobby Heenan, Rick Steamboat, Kevin Von Eric, Paul Orndorff, Crowbar and Johnny Valiant. Jesse Ventura's former tag team partner Steve Strong painted the former governor's official Capitol portrait, and it needs to be seen to be believed.
