The RAW crew was in Salt Lake City, UT tonight, and tomorrow they're in Anchorage, AK. The Smackdown crew spent their second night in Yokohama, Japan with Brock Lesnar over Big Show. Tomorrow night, they'll finish their Asian tour with a show in Kobe, Japan. The Torch reports that the Japanese are in awe of Brock Lesnar, both his size and his amateur background.
Yahoo! Japan has a bunch of photos from the Smackdown shows and Asian tour.
Smackdown scored a 3.4 (6 Share) down from 3.6, most likely due to pre-emptions in Los Angeles, CA and Denver, CO. Goldberg is scheduled to return to the ring Sunday to wrestle HHH in San Jose, CA. The Conquistadores were OVW wrestlers Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore (who happen to be feuding in OVW). Vengeance tickets are apparently not selling well, with plenty of floor seats still available. Zach Gowen's Smackdown armband was a tribute to late Michigan area wrestler "Yukon" Braxton.
Mick Foley will be the main feature of Confidential tomorrow. The show will also feature John Cena, Chris Jericho and Christian's match pick: Andre the Giant/SD Jones vs. Ken Patera/Big John Studd. Wisconsin's Capital Times has a less positive review of Mick Foley's book Tietam Brown. John Cena told Chartattack that Ja Rule's "so fake" and a "bit of a punk". Cena also discussed his plans for a full length hip-hop album, and his fellow rapping wrestler Ron "The Truth" Killings.
Stone Cold Steve Austin will host VH1 Classic's "Jukebox" tomorrow at 11am, with repeats at 7pm and then 3am Sunday. APA, Terri and Ivory are on a tour of Kuwait to visit U.S. troops and thank them for their work. Jim Ross appeared on Miami's UPN33 News yesterday discussing his cookbook and career. WWE and Microsoft are among the companies now paying investors dividends.
Sean Stasiak is auctioning an indy booking on Ebay, either a 2 hour appearance or a wrestling match. Fans that want Sgt. Slaughter to return to GI Joe will have to talk to Vince McMahon. A Florida teacher is in trouble for allowing students to perform wrestling stunts in her classroom as part of an acting exercise.
Jeremy Borash posted his latest Notes from the Inside. America's Most Wanted has signed a long-term deal with TNA. Borash points out that WCW is back (or ticketmaster made a mistake). NWA TNA will get a new look in the coming weeks. Borash brags that his TiVo is bigger than Bob Ryder's TiVo. Borash ends his column with another road story, and promises Wednesday will be a huge night for AJ Styles and D'Lo Brown.
That's it for today. Thanks for reading.
