Quick NWA TNA Results: AJ Styles over D'Lo Brown in a pinfalls only match (Fall 1 of 3 for the title), Elix Skipper over Mad Mikey, Legend over Matt Sydal/Altar Boy Luke, D'Lo Brown over AJ Styles in a submission only match (2 of 3), Chris Harris/James Storm over Johnny Swinger/Simon Diamond, Shane Douglas/Brian Lee/Slash over Raven/Julio Dinero/CM Punk, and AJ Styles over D'Lo Brown in a ladder match (3 of 3) to retain the NWA Title. The former Crash Holly debuted as Mad Mikey on tonight's NWA TNA PPV.

There are Smackdown spoilers from Fresno, CA last night. Fleer and WWE are working a promotional deal where fans who order PPVs (starting with Summerslam) will receive a package of trading cards from a special 40 card set, as well as special memorabilia cards. Joltin' Joe interviewed John Cena and Kurt Angle. Cena discussed his first year in WWE, his rapping, and Toronto. Angle discussed his surgery recovery, Team Angle and Vengeance. John Cena and Big Show are the guests on Byte This! tomorrow.

UPN will be debuting the Mullets after Smackdown on September 11, probably cutting Smackdown to 90 minutes. UPN and Fox are close to a deal which would allow UPN to continue broadcasting on certain Fox owned affiliates. MSNBC is doing test tapings for Jesse Ventura's talk show later this month in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Bryant Gumbel's Real Sports updated viewers on Roddy Piper's status after his appearance in the wrestling related deaths segment. B.J. Bethel interviewed Les Thatcher about his upcoming return to the ring. Devon Storm was a guest on the Interactive Interview discussing his time as Crowbar, WCW, WWE dark matches and his work as a physical therapist. The W-W Audio Show had Joe E. Legend as a guest, and he discussed NWA TNA, Just Joe, and his friend Edge.

Windsor, Ontario's BCW is celebrating 10 years with a show tomorrow featuring D'Lo Brown defending the BCW Heavyweight title against Justin Credible. The Philadelphia Inquirer has an article about the National Conservative Student Conference at which Warrior spoke on Monday. The New York Times reviewed Def Jam Vendetta and says it contains a unique moral about love. The K-State Student Union Food Court is getting a Mean Gene's Hamburger restaurant and they sure are proud.
