The Smackdown crew was in Edmonton, AB last night with Kurt Angle over Brock Lesnar. They have tonight off, and tape Smackdown in Kelowna, BC tomorrow night. While in Edmonton, WWE wrestlers Chris Benoit and Eddy Guerrero spoke out against dangerous backyard wrestling and told fans not to try wrestling at home.

Triple H was featured in Gene Simmons' Tongue magazine, and answered a few questions about Evolution, injuries, groupies and rock bands. Paul London was a guest on No Holds Barred radio and discussed his recent WWE signing, plus his work in ROH, NWA TNA and MLW. The Rock and Britney Spears presented the Teen Choice Award for Best actress, which will air on FOX Wednesday. Motley Fool suggests Mike Tyson look for work in WWE as he deals with bankruptcy.

NWA TNA officially announced their one cent PPV on September 10 (on some PPV systems), featuring some of the promotion's greatest matches. Jeremy Borash posted his Notes from the Inside column. Borash thinks the next six month's of Christopher Daniels career will be his biggest. A major video game company's representatives attended Wednesday's PPV and were impressed. Shawn Michaels and Michael Shane are cousins, not uncle/nephew. Borash spends a good bit of time discussing trolling the Bea Arthur message boards. They're working on getting Xplosion on the internet for fans to watch for free, and they hope to have TV clearance in Tulsa and Oklahoma City soon. TNA will put on a show with the Buffalo Bisons baseball team later this month. Borash discusses musical tastes and plans for merchandise, and says Shark Boys masks will be available soon and the AJ Styles shirt is their hottest selling. Wednesday, AJ Styles and D'Lo Brown will wrestle in a cage, America's Most Wanted take on Simon/Swinger, and Frankie Kazarian vs. Chris Sabin for the X Division title. Borash asks who fans want to see Mad Mikey beat up, and says there will be an X-Division tournament next month. Head of State (Chris Rock movie featuring NWA TNA) will be out next Tuesday, and Borash ends with Jerry Seinfeld's thoughts on professional wrestling.
