Al Snow has been working indy shows lately because he's presently classified as an announcer, and like Lawler, he has more scheduling freedom.

Randy Savage is releasing a rap music CD, and discussed it with 1wrestling.com. He also talked about the deaths of Miss Elizabeth and Curt Hennig, a challenge to Hulk Hogan, and the possibility of working at Wrestlemania XX. Hulk Hogan called into Bubba the Love Sponge's radio show this morning to respond to Randy Savage's rap song challenge, and to discuss plans for a possible farewell tour with Clear Channel Communications. SLAM's Jason Clevett checked in with his second on the road diary entry about a Bret Hart autograph signing.

Ring of Honor had to announce the cancellation of Raven vs. CM Punk hair vs. hair match stipulation on September 6 due to "contractual obligations" to NWA TNA, but to make up for it, Raven has now made it a Clockwork Orange House Of Fun in a Steel Cage match. Mad Mikey (Crash Holly) did an interview with Get in the Ring discussing leaving WWE, working with Russo, the hardcore title and Vince McMahon. There are off air notes and Xplosion spoilers from last night's NWA TNA PPV.

XPW promoter and Extreme Associates, Inc. member Robert "Rob Black" Zicari and his wife Janet "Lizzie Borden" Romano have been indicted by federal authorities in Pittsburgh for allegedly sending obscene movies, containing depictions of murder, rape and other violent acts, to a Pittsburgh area address. Dusty Rhodes will be holding 3 day pro wrestling camps in Philadelphia, PA, and Dallax, TX, with more dates to be announced.
