There are Heat spoilers and off air notes from last night's RAW, and even a couple backstage notes. The Smackdown crew was in Sarnia, ON last night with Kurt Angle over Brock Lesnar and Big Show. Tonight's Smackdown is being taped in Detroit, MI so spoilers should be out soon.

With Smackdown in Detroit tonight, the Detroit News did an article on Zach Gowen's hometown WWE debut. Also, the advertised Brock Lesnar vs. Zach Gowen match was pulled from the show, but then possibly re-added to the show, but we won't know for sure until the spoilers come out. Last week's Smackdown ended up with a 3.5 final rating, up due to Nielsen's discounting of homes blacked-out last week.

1wrestling has a possible Summerslam spoiler based on upcoming house show cards. Spike Dudley has written a list of his top 10 wrestling bumps. Undertaker will be on the Jimmy Kimmel show Thursday night.

The movie responsible for Kevin Nash's haircut is Punisher, based on the comic book, due out next summer. Roddy Piper is about to start work on a movie called "Code Black," directed by William Shatner and co-starring with Erik Estrada.

Tomorrow night's NWA TNA will feature a Lucky 13 Gauntlet Match to determine the #1 contender for the NWA Title, Chris Sabin will defend the X Title against Frankie Kazarian and Michael Shane in the new Ultimate X match, Legend/Christopher Daniels vs. Erik Watts/Jeff Jarrett, Simon Diamond/Johnny Swinger vs. America's Most Wanted, and Raven will be seeking answers from James Mitchell. This week, Get In the Ring radio had Mike Tenay and Sean Waltman as guests. Tenay discussed TNA's need for consecutive good shows, character name recognition, the one cent PPV, and wrestling announcers. Waltman talked about the recent Joanie Laurer controversy, including Triple H's comments at the start of their relationship.

All Japan Pro Wrestling started off their tour with a fake WWE invasion with Shawn "Hotstuff" Hernandez as Kurt Angle, Amazing Red as Rey Mysterio Jr., and Alan Funk as Hulk Hogan (picture of the three). Miyako Blassie is selling much of Freddie's wrestling collection on Ebay. Greg Oliver of SLAM spoke to Gerry Della Serra about his career and the impact the end of the territory system had on it.

Low Ki issued an apology for hitting Ring of Honor cameraman Doug Gentry in anger after Dan Maff was knocked out. Steve Corino lost hearing in his left ear after suffering a ruptured eardrum in his match with Homocide for ROH on Saturday. Also, the Briscoe Brothers will be making a return to Ring of Honor on their September 6 show in Cambridge, MA.

The Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune has a eulogy for wrestling promoter/journalist Ray Whebbe Jr. who died last week at age 48. A Malaysian spiritual leader is blaming wrestling for violence among youths. Pro wrestling is coming to Paris... Illinois, as New Championship Wrestling sets up base in the town, with an emphasis on family friendly wrestling for kids.
