Quick RAW Results: Trish Stratus over Gail Kim, Mark Henry/Rodney Mack over Garrison Cade/Mark Jindrak, La Resistance over the Dudley Boys, Randy Orton over Maven, Christian over Jerry Lawler, and Chris Jericho vs. Shane McMahon was a no contest.

There are a number of off air Summerslam notes including a surprise birthday celebration for Vince McMahon and a couple backstage notes. WWE.com posted a couple Summerslam notes of their own on Funaki (who shares Vince McMahon's birthday) and the Diamondbacks in attendance for the show. Former champion "Superstar" Billy Graham, who lives in the Phoenix area, also made it to the PPV, his first WWE event in nearly 15 years. The Smackdown crew is off tonight, and tomorrow night they tape Smackdown in El Paso, TX.

WWE announced first quarter earnings with a net income of $2.7 million vs. $2.5 million a year ago. WWE noted this quarter only included 2 PPVs instead of the normal 3 as Vengeance occured after the end of quarter. Linda McMahon called it a good quarter that exceeded expectations. WWE's conference call to discuss the earnings report is tomorrow morning at 11am ET and will be available on their corporate website.

WWE's local ads for their next Madison Square Garden show heavily feature the McMahons and not too much else. WWE.com interviewed Jaime Koeppe about her diva search win and she says it's still just setting in.

Mick Foley did an interview with New Zealand's National Radio about Tietam Brown and the wrestling business. There's a part two to Danny Doring's interview conducted by Alan Wojcik, in which Doring discusses the end of ECW, possibly working for WWE, XPW, and IPW/NWA.

Triple H/Evolution theme song creators Motorhead are being added to Hollywood's Rockwalk next month. American Idol judge Simon Cowell discussed his business success including the small role professional wrestling played in it.

That's it for today. Thanks for reading.
