The Smackdown crew is in New York City, NY tomorrow night at Madison Square Garden. With Wrestlemania tickets on sale next weekend, I wouldn't be shocked if they gave out a presale password to fans in attendance. Some Wilkes-Barre, PA wrestling camped out for WWE tickets during Tropical Storm Isabel yesterday.

Smackdown scored a 3.2 rating (5 share) last night, down from a 3.5 rating last week. Smackdown helped UPN finish fourth in the overnight ratings, ahead of FOX and WB. In case you wondered, that was Alexis Laree in the APA skit during Smackdown.

WWE.com has a story on Vince McMahon's induction into the MSG Walk of Fame with comments from Linda. WWE named Bob Bowman to their Board of Directors. Bowman is currently CEO of Major League Baseball Advanced Media, and he'll chair the Board's Audit Committee. WWE announced they'll pay a $0.04 dividend on all Class A and Class B common shares.

Dave Scherer has a few details on Triple H's bachelor party, including who didn't attend. The Express-Times has an article on Billy Kidmna's rise to success in the world of professional wrestling. WWE's latest charity autograph signing for he Armed Forces Family Scholarship and Assistance Fund is tomorrow afternoon in New York City, NY.

John Cena was on New York City's Hot 97 promoting tomorrow's MSG house show with a rap and arm wrestling competition. Brock Lesnar was a guest on the Morning Guys Show in Philadelphia, and talked about the transition from amateur to pro wrestling, his iron man match, Wrestlemania and his training. Rob Van Dam appeared on the McDonell-Douglas radio show in Los Angeles, CA and discussed his comic book store, comments made during his last appearance, and he hyped Sunday's PPV.

The Rock appeared on WGN's morning news today to promote The Rundown, but he also discussed his family's involvement in wrestling, a return to WWE, and HHH's movie deals. The Rundown will have sneak previews at some theaters tomorrow night.

Hulk Hogan vs. Masahiro Chono was officially announced by New Japan Pro Wrestling for October 13 at the Tokyo Dome. 1wrestling had live coverage of tonight's MLW Wargames show. Zane Allen has written up what's required by law in order to hold a wrestling show in New York state.

NWA TNA announced they'll have a free pre-show every Wednesday night before the PPV to introduce and promote the PPV. The shows will start a week from this Wednesday. NWA TNA issued an official preview for next week, with Raven's revenge, a Jeff Jarrett/Don Callis showdown, Dusty Rhodes' message for AJ Styles, Simon Diamond/Johnny Swinger vs. 3 Live Kru, Kid Kash vs. Terry Taylor, Chris Sabin vs. Nosawa vs. Juventud Guerrera vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Frankie Kazarian in an elimination match, and 3 Live Kru will debut their new single with a live performance. Wrestling Observer has a transcript of Roddy Piper's return to NWA TNA Wednesday.

Jeremy Borash posted his latest Notes from the Inside column. He praised Raven and Shane Douglas for their match, and says Douglas suffered a stinger in his arm during the match. Xplosion is now available in High Definition format on inDemand's HD channel, and Xplosion now airs in Minneapolis, MN on Ch. 45. Ekmo "Jamal" Fatu will make a big impact in TNA, and AAA's Kato wrestled a dark match Wednesday. TNA is working to establish relations with other promotions internationally, and D'Lo Brown will work a short tour in All Japan. Borash shares a story about heeling gone wrong on the indy circuit, and says a number of TNA wrestlers will be in Myrtle Beach for a show tomorrow night.
