The Smackdown crew is in Saginaw, MI tonight also with Rey Mysterio of A-Train and Tajiri and Chavo Guerrero. Tomorrow night, Smackdown will be taped in Uncasville, CT.

The Rock appeared on the first On Air with Ryan Seacrest show today, and discussed Dunkin Donuts, Walking Tall, and football. Steve Austin will appear on Wednesday morning's Regis and Kelly Show. Trish Stratus will appear on The Score's Sports Axxess on January 31 at 12am EST.

The latest issue of Sports Illustrated makes mention of WWE Originals. The Inland Valley Daily Bulletin has a profile of Lisa Marie Varon, aka Victoria, who is from that area.

WWE's Canadian website announced that WWE will make a major announcement in Edmonton, AB on February 4th, and it's expected to be that Backlash will be held there in April, with RAW the next night in Calgary. Apple's promotional video for iLife shows the host Ian posing in photos with wrestlers including The Rock, Austin and Randy Savage.

1wrestling has a list of DVD extras for the upcoming Monday Night War DVD. Undertaker's new DVD will reportedly only have 5 matches, with the DVD totalling 60 minutes. Everyone seems to have posted the Ric Flair DVD Easter Egg instructions if you haven't discovered them yourself yet.

British DVD distributor Silvervision will release classic WWF events on DVD starting in February with Wrestlemanias 1 and 2 and Royal Rumble 89. Barry Blaustein's documentary Beyond The Mat will be released in a new "Ringside Special Edition" on March 23 with new commentaries from Mick Foley, Jesse Ventura, and additional footage.

SLAM's Steven Johnson reviewed Chokehold: Pro Wrestling's Real Mayhem Outside the Ring by Jim Wilson and Weldon T. Johnson, and while he says it's not for everyone, it's a necessity for anyone interested in NWA history and wrestling's ugly side. Pro Wrestling World-1 and Wrestling Spotlight will present a wrestling event on February 8 to benefit the Christopher James Litchfield "We Can Beat It" Cancer Fund, a fund to benefit a 4 year old boy undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment for a cancerous tumor he had removed last week.
