Quick Smackdown Results: Rikishi/Scotty 2 Hotty over the Bashams to win the WWE tag team titles, Big Show over Billy Gunn, Billy Kidman over Jamie Noble, Rey Mysterio Jr. over Chavo Guerrero Sr., and Kurt Angle over Bob Holly.

The RAW crew was in Hiroshima, Japan today with Shawn Michaels over Ric Flair. Tomorrow night, the RAW crew will perform in Osaka, Japan. Smackdown was pre-empted in Washington, DC tonight, and will air on Sunday at 9pm.

Mark Henry's shoulder injury actually happened on Sunday in Youngstown, OH, not the next night on RAW. Paul Heyman is reportedly writing his own promos and suggesting ideas to the creative team. 1wrestling has the latest pre-show backstage meeting gossip on the changes in referee treatment as well as resentment towards John "Johnny Ace" Laurinaitis.

Mick Foley was a guest on Between the Ropes last night and discussed his WWE return, Vader shootfighting, and his TV show pilot. Alex Marvez spoke to The Rock for his latest column about The Rock's filming schedule and what it means for his wrestling career. There are off air notes from last night's NWA TNA show, including results from the second half of the America's X Cup taping, which will air next week. TNA Xplosion will begin airing on Sunshine network on Friday at 10pm ET. Joanie "Chynna Doll" Laurer will debut for NWA TNA on their next live show on February 18. There are rumors that TNA may build an ex-WWE faction possibly including recently released wrestlers like Brian Kendrick and Zach Gowen.

Billy Corgan's latest website update mentions that he was mentioned on the Torch's website, and that he'll be attending the Ring of Honor show on April 24 when they're in Chicago, IL. Mike Johnson has several Ring of Honor notes on Raven, Bobby Heenan, and Roddy Piper. SLAM has a look at this weekend's debut of ZERO-ONE's American off-shoot WORLD-ONE. The Backseat Boyz have quit Combat Zone Wrestling , although someone from CZW claims member Johnny Kashmere was fired, and his partner Trent Acid decided to quit rather than pursue a singles career there.

Shane Douglas was on Between the Ropes last night and talked about MLW and TNA, old school wrestling, and Steve Corino. Greg Price, the organizer of the Mid-Atlantic Legends Convention, commented on the Buddy Landel incident and apologized to anyone offended by Landel's behavior. Last night's episode of "Cheap Seats" on ESPN ran an episode of Mid South Wrestling from 1981 with humorous commentary. The Harvard Crimson Online has an article on the Institute of Politics' new spring fellows with a focus on Jesse Ventura.
