There are Smackdown spoilers from last night in Atlantic City, NJ. There were two backstage confrontations at Smackdown yesterday, one between Big Show and Ron Simmons over Big Show being too preachy, and the other a screaming match between Sable and Torrie Wilson.

At yesterday's pre-Smackdown meeting, Brock Lesnar informed management and his fellow wrestlers that his match against Goldberg at Wrestlemania would be his final one, and that he might be pursuing an NFL career. Lesnar has expressed unhappiness with the travel involved in the pro-wrestling lifestyle, as well as concerns about his post-Wrestlemania booking and future health. It doesn't appear that this is an angle, and not many in the locker are sad to see him go with quite a few looking for an opportunity to move up the card. Sable isn't among those happy to see him leave, as she's been dating Lesnar for a while.

Triple H appeared on Regis and Kelly this morning to promote Wrestlemania, as well as discuss his marriage to Stephanie, and Vince McMahon's wrestling. Dish Networks says Spike TV's contract still has a year left, so it's unlikely to be removed during their current dispute with Viacom.

Dusty Rhodes will take Roddy Piper's place at Saturday's Ring of Honor show, but not at the Q&A session, and the status of Teddy Hart vs. Steve Corino emtpy arena match is still unknown. This Saturday's Ring of Honor may be Teddy Hart's last chance to prove himself to the promotion and his fellow wrestlers. Derek Burgan reviewed Ring of Honor's Glory By Honor II (part 2) and says it's an "absolutely fantastic show that needs to be seen to be believed."

Dusty Rhodes, Bill Behrens and Phil Heffner will meet with Georgia State Rep.
