The Mania of Wrestlemania airs tomorrow night at 8pm EST on UPN. WWE will be ringing the bell to open the New York Stock Exchange tomorrow morning. Triple H did an interview on ESPN Radio's Sports Brothers show this afternoon and discussed Wrestlemania, steroids, and Vince McMahon. Scott Fishman of the Miami Herald spoke to Booker T about his start in wrestling, the end of WCW, and Wrestlemania. APA appeared on ESPN 2's Cold Pizza this morning discussing Wrestlemania and tag team wrestling. Eddy Guerrero and Shawn Michaels were the guests on Byte This! this afternoon discussing Wrestlemania.

WWE held a Wrestlemania press conference this afternoon with Vince McMahon, Eric Bischoff, Paul Heyman and most of the top match participants in attendance. Fans also played a major part, with ECW chants for Paul Heyman and "quitter" chants for Brock Lesnar. 1wrestling has a collection of pictures from the event. The Salem, OR Statesman Journal is looking for fans holding Wrestlemania parties in their area for a story.

The Associated Press ran a story on Wrestlemania's 20th anniversary. SLAM's Jon Waldman compiled a list of quirky Wrestlemania facts and figures. SLAM also has an article on the history of wrestling in Madison Square Garden.

Lesnar's decision to leave hasn't affected WWE and Goldberg's relationship, with no sudden contract extension likely. No one in the Smackdown locker room seems too upset by Lesnar's decision to leave. If Lesnar does make it to the NFL, he would be the second NCAA wrestling champion to play without college football experience.

Pete Rose's Hall of Fame induction got a New York Post Page 6 mention with the heading "Hall of Shame?" Howard Stern says he won't be at Wrestlemania since he asked for a million dollars, and WWE offered five thousand. The Wrestlemania edition of Spike TV's 10 Things Every Guy Should Experience will air after RAW on Monday. Viacom and Dish Network have reached an agreement, so Viacom owned stations are now back on the air and the rest of us won't see notices on the bottom of our screens.

The Christian Science Monitor has an article examining whether Japanese and Mexican wrestling will overtake mainstream American wrestling in the United States. USA Today may run a story on problems in professional wrestling tomorrow. Georgia State Representative Alan Powell plans to make changes to his wrestling regulation legislation, including lowering the licensing fee from $1000 to $100 and dropping the per match fee. Pennsylvania's Corporations Bureau doesn't yet show a transfer in ownership of Ring of Honor.

Frontier Wrestling Alliance has signed an exclusive deal with The Wrestling Channel. FANSLAM has 34 superstars lined-up for Saturday's convention in Totowa, NJ. Billy Reil stopped a second bank robbery in Philadelphia after chasing him down into the subway. The White Plains Journal News has an article on teacher Scott Wright, aka wrestler Scotty Charisma, as he prepares to wrestler Crowbar as part of a benefit for the high school football team.
