The RAW crew was in Ft. Wayne, IN last night with Chris Benoit over Triple H, and WWE announced Ft. Wayne will get a UPN affiliate on April 1. The Smackdown crew was in Glasgow, Scotland yesterday with Eddy Guerrero over Big Show. Tomorrow night, Smackdown will be taped in Grand Rapids, MI.

WWE.com has a statement on their website saying Vince McMahon has extended trading deadline until 9pm tomorrow night when a new Smackdown GM will be announced. There are rumors that Stephanie McMahon will make her return as the new Smackdown GM. Most WWE wrestlers didn't know their post lottery plans until shortly before the show.

Kurt Angle is expected to work a lighter schedule when he returns to TV in 2-3 weeks. WWE opened their Backlash website featuring Chris Benoit as well as a picture of Bret Hart. WWE will hold RAW in Winnipeg, MB on July 5, which is their first televised event in 9 years.

Superhero Hype has a photo of Triple H as a vampire in Blade: Trinity. Rob Van Dam and Kevin Nash were at the Wizard World comic book convention in Long Beach, CA this past weekend, with RVD promoting his comic book store and Nash promoting the Punisher movie. Cooming Soon! has a press release on the start of principal photography for Santa's Slay starring Goldberg.

Syracuse University's Daily Orange has a pair of articles on Mick Foley. The first is on his talk at Syracuse, and the second is on his plans for the future which might include a run for office. Syracuse University's HillTV also had a one minute piece in their nightly newscast covering Foley's visit. Mick Foley told one person at Syracuse that he wouldn't be at RAW tonight after being told he wouldn't be needed. Mick Foley will speak at North Central Michigan College on Wednesday night.

The Fort Wayne Journal Gazette has an article on what goes into preparing the Memorial Coliseum for various events including last night's WWE show. Former Governor Jesse Ventura spoke out in favor of gay marriage, saying "Love is bigger than government." Ventura will also replace Dominick Dunne as the second speaker in the Salem State College Series on April 15.

An anonymous WWE wrestler has written a a defense of Rob Feinstein. AJ Styles has reportedly been asked by NWA TNA to distance himself from Ring of Honor, in which he currently holds the Pure Wrestling champion, and they may ask the same of their other contracted wrestlers due to concerns over Rob Feinstein, television deals, or general exclusivity.

Jeff Jarrett and Abyss required an escort after Jarrett's victory over Latin Lover in AAA's main event last night in Mexico City after the crowd turned furious. NWA TNA announced the teams for the Americas X Cup on April 7 with Team Mexico defending against Team UK. NWA TNA issued their power rankings for championship contendership this week.

Bret Hart will headline the FAN SLAM convention on July 17 in Totowa, NJ. Teddy Hart is reportedly the Hart that's been telling people Bret Hart will be promoting this summer, which Bret Hart has now said is false. SLAM has an article on Dangerboy Derek Wylde and some of the challenges independent wrestlers face these days.
