Smackdown scored a 3.2 rating (5 Share), down from a 3.3 last week, although it was pre-empted in Philadelphia, PA and Atlanta, GA. UPN finished in fourth place last night, beating out FOX and WB. Tomorrow night's Confidential will cover WWE fan Kyle Maynard, Walking Tall, a Chris Benoit photo shoot, and Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart from Summerslam 94.

The RAW crew was in Hidalgo, TX tonight, and tomorrow night they're in Monterrey, Mexico. The Smackdown crew is in Mobile, AL tomorrow night. WWE will return to Germany on June 5-6, with shows in Munich and Oberhausen.

Edmonton, AB Mayor Bill Smith will welcome home Chris Benoit at their City Hall on April 15. The Washington Post's Reliable Source Richard Leiby says he learned that soldiers love wrestling at last week's USO dinner.

WWE's Diva magazine cover contest may have been worked, with Torrie picked ahead of time. WWE is now running the same sort of competition again, this time asking which Method Man/John Cena Smackdown magazine cover fans want. WWE.com spoke to a few WWE superstars about Hellboy, which was released today.

The Rock appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman last night to promote Walking Tall, but he also discussed his tattoos, wrestling deaths, and football. The Rock was on the Howard Stern show this morning discussing Walking Tall, his tattoos, his WWE contract expiring, and ownership of The Rock. The Rock was also on Regis and Kelly this morning promoting Walking Tall and discussing wrestling. There are again a bunch of newspaper interviews with The Rock, from Denver Post, Oregonian, News Tribune, Kalamazoo Gazette, Grand Rapids Press, St. Petersburg Times, and the The Early Show.

Box Office Mojo's weekend predictions have Walking Tall finishing at #4 with $13.3 million. There are a lot more Walking Tall reviews today, again the good: Gannett News Service, E! Online, Coming Soon, Seattle Times, Detroit Free Press, Denver Post, Kalamazoo Gazette, CanWest, and Portland Tribune, and the bad: Roger Ebert, Boston Globe, San Jose Mercury News, New York Daily News, Associated Press, Toronto Sun, Sun Media, Hollywood.com, Palo Alto Online, Globe and Mail, Tulane Advance Register, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Dallas-Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, and the Everett Herald. Most of the unfavorable Walking Tall reviews still had praise for The Rock.

The New York Daily News has an article on Hulk Hogan's protection of his daughter Brooke, also pointing out that he's still on crutches from his injury in Japan last year. Terry Funk has a role in Barry Blaustein's upcoming movie The Ringer. The director of Hellboy said he was under pressure from the studio to hire The Rock or Vin Diesel for the lead, but he wanted Ron Pearlman and ended up getting his way.

DDP responsed to rumors he might return to wrestling, saying that they're true and that watching Wrestlemania, and settling with Lloyds of London, sparked some of his interest, and he's now taking indy bookings. Goldberg's website says he'll do an AOL chat on April 6. Brian "Spanky" Kendrick answered fan questions on his website about God, WWE, movies and dating.

NWA TNA issued an early preview for their April 14 PPV. Some TNA wrestlers took part in the filming of Sting: The Movie, and Abyss will work some shows for AAA. CZW has shows tonight and tomorrow in Reading, PA and Philadelphia, PA, with BJ Whitmer making his debut. Trent Acid returned at tonight's CZW show after Acid's Backseat Boyz partner Johnny Kashmere was fired, and he left with him.
