The Smackdown crew was in Mobile, AL on Saturday night with Eddy Guerrero over Bradshaw, and in Dothan, AL last night also with Eddy Guerrero over Bradshaw. The Smackdown crew was in Dallas, TX tonight, and tomorrow night they'll tape Smackdown in San Antonio, TX. The RAW crew was in Laredo, TX last night.

WWE's show in Monterrey, Mexico was both a financial and critical success, and WWE plans to run another event in Mexico this year in addition to a possible show in Mexico City. The weekend's RAW house shows drew well, with a gate of $450,000 in Monterrey, Mexico., however the Smackdown house shows didn't do as well. WWE's caravan of buses was help up at the border for several hours returning from Monterrey, Mexico due to a paperwork problem. TSN will preempt RAW in the coming weeks due to Stanley Cup Playoff hockey games.

WWE is reportedly happy with Christian, Chris Jericho, and Shelton Benjamin's work. WWE officials were reportedly concerned by the small reactions for Rey Mysterio Jr. and Chavo Guerrero Jr. in Hidalo and Laredo, TX, until they realized Smackdown doesn't air in either. THQ is auctiong off the WWE Smackdown Here Comes The Pain truck used to promote the game in the UK.

WWE will reportedly tape footage for a new Smackdown opening on Tuesday. Smackdown was UPN's second highest rated show in adult's 18-49 for the season, finishing behind America's Next Top Model. WWE's Smackdown magazine cover poll for which Method Man/John Cena pose to use is now down to 4.

Ric Flair was a guest at President Bush's luncheon in Charlotte, NC with the President thanking "Big Ric" for coming. WWE wrestlers will appear at USO's "Welcome Home" celebration at Fort Hood, TX on April 22.

WWE.com posted Droz's latest commentary about Shelton Benjamin's win over HHH, Mick Foley, and Spike Dudley. Paul Bearer updated his commentary with thoughts on working in both of his dream arenas within 3 weeks time. Motley Fool picked up on WWE's Video on Demand plans looking at the money it may bring in. This week's National Enquirer has additional details on the Steve Austin domestic abuse situation which make it appear that Austin tried to end the relationship while his ex-girlfriend Tess Broussard refuses to accept it.

Walking Tall's actual weekend gross was $15.5 million, averaging $5465 per screen, up slightly from estimates of $15.3 million. The Rock is schedulled to appear on the Ellen Degeneres Show tomorrow. The Rock appeard on CBS This Morning and did an interview to promote Walking Tall.

Mike Altamura wrote about the sudden end of Total Wrestling Magazine, which hit many that wrote for it off-guard. PWInsider has notes on books from Ric Flair, JJ Dillon, Rock n' Roll Express, Jimmy Hart, and Vince Russo. John Baber reviewed Bobby Heenan's second book Wrestling's Bad Boy Tells All and says it's "rich with information and hilarious stories." Bobby Heenan will do a book signing at Rob Van Dam's 5 Star Comics on April 13.

There are some NWA TNA spoilers for this week's taped broadcast, including the winners of the NWA Tag Team titles. Trinity says NWA TNA will release a Trinity DVD this summer. NWA TNA updated their wrestler bios area. Alan Wojcik interviewed D'Lo Brown about his life before wrestling, SMW, Ron Simmons, Crash Holly, and working in All Japan.

Randy Savage is supposed to appear on VH1's 100 Most Outrageous Celebrity Moments. Hulk Hogan's 13 year old son Nick Bollea has a role in the movie The Pain Beneath under the screen name Nick Hogan. Chris Satullo of the Philadelphia Enquirer wrote about Google's impact on life, and included the fact that if you search for his last name, Satullo, you'll find a lot more results for Perry Satullo, known to wrestling fans as Perry Saturn.

Steve Williams will undergo surgery this week to have a polyp and traces of cancer removed from his throat. Sean "X-Pac" Waltman says he's leaving his website, although the webmaster says the site will remain open. Waltman will return to wrestling on April 16 against Bobby Quance at the Inoki Dojo in Santa Monica, CA. CZW will hold their fourth annual Best Junior Heavyweight tournament in Philadelphia, PA on July 10.
