There are Smackdown spoilers and notes from last night in San Antonio, TX. Smackdown will be pre-empted in Washington, DC tomorrow night, airing Sunday at 7pm instead.

There are a few more details about Steve Austin's possible exit from WWE, which may be the result of his lawyer playing hardball during contract negotiations and discussions over the rights to his character name. Austin was backstage at the Smackdown tapings in San Antonio, TX, and he may have more talks with WWE later this week. Other WWE wrestlers are reportedly supportive of Austin in this fight.

Stacy Keibler visited returning troops at Fort Hood in Killeen, TX. William Regal spoke to WWE.com about his recovery and return, training other wrestlers, and overcoming addiction. WWE's latest True or False puts William Regal against Gail Kim on topics such as foreign wrestlers, NCAA basketball, Mick Foley and the European Championship. Molly Holly and Kurt Angle will call into tomorrow's Byte This! with Lillian Garcia in the studio.

There are rumors that Kenzo Suzuki may be brought to Smackdown and managed by Funaki. NWA Wildside's Rick Michaels signed a WWE deal to work backstage on the road on wrestling gear. D-Von Dudley will take part in celebrity softball game conducted by Junior Achievement on April 16 in Brevard County, FL.

TSN.ca has an interview with Chris Benoit in which he discusses the change in his announced hometown. Chris Benoit also discussed the Edmonton, AB to Atlanta, GA change on Toronto's Z103.5 morning show. The Sun's Lilsboys will host an online chat with Ric Flair and they're accepting questions from fans. The Howard Stern show replayed a Triple H interview from 2002 this morning.

The Rock appeared on Craig Kilborn's show last night to promote Walking Tall, but he also discussed losing his virginity. Walking Tall slipped to #4 yesterday, falling just slightly behind Home On The Range.

Superstar Billy Graham updated his website with his thoughts on being inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame and on the entire entire Wrestlemania weekend. Goldberg plans on selling his own line of t-shirts as part of the Spear This clothing line. CW Anderson updated his website commentary about basketball, laptops, and his work in Japan. Sean "X-Pac" Waltman's forum has now been taken offline after posts by many fans angry with Waltman's decision to leave the website.

The NWA TNA/Ring of Honor situation seem to have been resolved after Jeff Jarrett and Doug Gentry had an opportunity to speak. TNA was concerned about their wrestlers working in Ring of Honor in part because they're close to a television deal, even going so far as to have discussions with Universal Studios in Orlando, FL about taping there. TNA is reportedly interested in Terri Runnels and Sean O'Haire, although O'Haire has a 90-day no-compete clause.

Alan Wojcik interviewed Ron Killings about NWA, rapping, BG James, and his current work in TNA. Brian "Spanky" Kendrick was on Between The Ropes tonight and he discussed leaving WWE, Paul London, politics, and his work in Japan.

In addition to shows this weekend, which will feature Dustin Rhodes' debut, WORLD-1 will run shows May 14-16 in New England. Dreamstage Entertainment is now a partner in ZERO-ONE, and they plan to go after ZERO-ONE and All Japan bootleggers in the United States. Mike Johnson has lots of notes on Ring of Honor including some of their upcoming angles and matches. Reason has an article on the recent pornography crackdown, focusing on former XPW promoter Robert "Rob Black" Zicari's part in it.

SLAM has a review of referee Tommy Young's Shoot Interview which will be overlooked by most, although it may be of interest to long time fans. Bobby Eaton and referee Dick Woehrle have been added to the Wrestling Reunion convention on June 5 in Carteret, NJ. Mike Rotunda made it into this week's Canadian TV Guide crossword puzzle.

The ECW Arena renovation project has already begun as fans at this past weekend's CZW show noticed bathroom upgrades, a ticket window, and a paint job for the outside entrance. They also took down the ECW Arena sign, are now auctioning it off on Ebay. The Torch is offering three free newsletter samples.
