Quick Smackdown Results: Dudley Boys over Rikishi/Scotty 2 Hotty, Chavo Guerrero Jr. over Jamie Noble, John Cena over Danny Basham, Charlie Haas/Big Show over Rob Van Dam/Booker T, Rene Dupree over Orlando Jordan, and Spike Dudley over Johnny the Bull.

Last week's two hours of RAW finished #1 and #2. WWE issued a press release for Chris Benoit's homecoming on Tuesday inviting fans to welcome him at the airport. WWE may be cancelling Confidential, with no word yet on what would replace it. The Rise and Fall of ECW DVD is scheduled for a November 16 release, and WWE will reportedly revoice the DVD, possibly with Paul Heyman and Tazz.

Someone reportedly close to Steve Austin says he's confident things will work out, while others reportedly close to Vince McMahon say he's willing to wait Austin out. Kurt Angle, Molly Holly and Lillian Garcia were on Byte This! this afternoon with Lillian discussing her music and announcing, Molly discussing her hair loss and Shelton Benjamin's crush, and Kurt discussing being GM and Smackdown's recent losses. Paul Bearer posted a statement on his forum announcing its closure citing attacks from "bloodthirsty Internet vultures," but also thanking his loyal members.

Some Smackdown wrestlers are apparently concenred by Booker T's RAW is superior to Smackdown angle because it may be too close to the truth. Undertaker is being kept of TV as a special treat for live fans. Edge's hand fracture is real, and Scott Steiner is still suffering from groin injuries. Rey Mysterio Jr. is off weekend house shows to spend Easter with his family.

Bradshaw will be on FOX News' Cashin' In on Saturday at 11:30am. Ric Flair will do an interview with TalkSPORT next week. Fozzy will be one of the first acts to play Edmonton, AB's Starlite Room on April 18.

Walking Tall slipped to #6 yesterday behind Johnson Family Vacation and Scooby Doo 2. The Memphis Flyer has a review of Walking Tall which also includes a lot of historical information on the original story. Williamette Week Online has an interview with The Rock about being an action hero, Walking Tall, and race.

Mike Johnson interviewed Mikey Whipwreck about NWA TNA, returning from retirement, fatherhood, and injuries. A FOX Sports Net spokesman acknowledged coversations with NWA TNA, saying that no deal is in place yet but if they did get a timeslot, it'd be a mid-afternoon weekly show possibly starting in June. Alex Marvez revealed results of a recent ESPN Sports Poll asking if people were wrestling fans, with the largest groups responding yes being those 12-17 (49.7%), and African-Americans (45.9%).

Hulk Hogan's Hollywood Squares appearance will air next week. Bruno Sammartino's WWWF Title is up for auction on Ebay. Mean Gene Okerlund's son Todd Okerlund made the St. Petersburg Times staff's list as the most famous past New York Islander player.

SLAM's Jason Clevett reviewed Bobby Heenan's book Chairshots and Other Obstacles saying its worth a look and an easy re-read. The Torch's Derek Burgan reviewed a DVD on wrestler Legion Freakin' Cage and says its "a better investment than 9 out of every 10 TNA shows." PWInsider's creation was covered in the April edition of Total Wrestling Magazine, which ceased operations last week.

Ruth Leitman's documentary on women's wrestling "Lipstick & Dynamite, Piss & Vinegar: The First Ladies of Wrestling" will have its world premiere at the Hot Docs film festival in Toront, ON. Former Malborough, MA mayoral candidate and wrestler Christopher "The Skunk" Antal is in the middle of a local controversy after he insulted a high school principal during a fund raising concert at the school. Two US soldiers recently killed in Iraq were big wrestling fans: Stephen "Dusty" Hiller was nicknamed after Dusty Rhodes by his father, and Casey Sheehan was a big fan of The Rock.
