The RAW crew was in Amarillo, TX tonight, and tomorrow night they're in Lubbock, TX. Fozzy will perform in Lubbock, TX tomorrow and in Phoenix, AZ after RAW. Summerslam will take place at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON on August 15.

Smackdown scored a 3.1 rating, which is the same as last week, but better because Detroit and Milwaukee pre-empted the show. Smackdown pushed UPN to a third place finish in the overnight ratings on the first night of May sweeps. Some of Rico's actions were blurred on The Score's airing of Smackdown in Canada.

RVD and WWE are apparently close to a new deal. Miss Jackie wrote a new column about her tag team, email response to her first column, Tough Enough and her apparel. Jakks Pacific will be releasing a third series of Classic WWE Superstars including Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Ted DiBiase, and Jimmy Snuka.

Kurt Angle was on Off The Record last night and he discussed his injuries, his professional wrestling training, and Brock Lesnar. TSN's website also has an interview with Kurt Angle and Dawn Marie in which Angle again challenges Bret Hart to a match. Kurt Angle has reportedly sought out many opinions regarding his neck surgery options.

Combat Zone Wrestling was in Allentown, PA tonight, and tomorrow they'll be in Philadelphia, PA. 3PW and PWInsider are holding a contest to give away three pairs of tickets to 3PW's May 15 show in Philadelphia, PA.

The Washington City Paper has a lengthy article on independent wrestler Mike Mahoney Jr. with a focus on the difficult life of most wrestlers as they attempt to reach national promotions. SLAM has an article on Canadian female wrestler LuFisto and her recent work in Mexico as well as her training school the "Torture Chamber." The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer has an article on the debate between Ole Anderson and Dave Meltzer over the death of the territorial system and kayfabe. Mike "Leatherface" Kirchner will be releasing an autobiography in June.

Mike Tenay answered a new set of questions about the whereabouts of several wrestlers and upcoming X Cup plans. Dallas, Frankie Kazarian and Primetime each answered 10 questions about a variety of things.

Former MLW owner Court Bauer and Teddy Hart announced the formation of H2 Pro-Wrestling with their first show on June 26 in Boston, MA. Roddy Piper will appear at the Ballpark Brawl II on July 17 at Dunn Tire Park in Buffalo, NY following a Buffalo Bisons/Scranton Wilkes-Barre Red Barons’ game.
