WWE's business drivers report (PDF) for last week indicates Backlash did roughly 275,000 buys, down from about 350,000 last year. THQ released more information on their upcoming WWE titles, including WWE Smackdown! vs. RAW for Playstation 2 with a October/November release, WWE Wrestlemania XXI for Xbox due around the time of the event, and WWE Survivor Series for the Gameboy Advance SKU due around the holiday season. These games are in addition to the upcoming WWE Day of Reckoning for the Gamecube.
Eric Bischoff arrived in Winnipeg, MB yesterday to promote RAW on July 5, and appeared on 92 CITI FM as tickets go one sale Saturday. Ric Flair wasn't at RAW due to the birth of a grandchild. Takako Inoue is scheduled for a dark match prior to the May 17 RAW in San Diego, CA.
