Quick Smackdown Results: Kenzo Suzuki over Scotty 2 Hotty, Rey Mysterio Jr. over Chavo Guerrero Jr., John Cena vs. Booker T was a draw, John Cena vs. Rob Van Dam was a draw, and John Cena over Rene Dupree (sorta).

Last week's second hour of RAW finished #9, but the first hour didn't make the top 15. Rob Van Dam was appeared on the McDonnell/Douglas show in California yesterday to discuss Stacy Keibler's upcoming appearance at his comic book store, Smackdown and the European tour, although he refused to give a comment about the Bradshaw incident. Big Show threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Dodgers/Blue Jays game tonight in Toronto, ON.

Sylvan Grenier, Christian, Chris Benoit and Victoria were all on guests on Byte This! this afternoon, with Grenier discussing his tag title win and Bad Blood, Christian talking about titles, Edge and his injury, Chris Benoit discussing the Eddy Guerrero Story, jumping from WCW, and the Crossface, and Victoria talking about Stevie Richards and Bad Blood. Several Italian-American WWE wrestlers, including Rico and members of the FBI, enjoyed visiting their roots last week. The Riverfront Times has an interview with Rey Mysterio Jr. to promote WWE's June 13 show in St. Louis, MO.

John "Bradshaw" Layfeid defended himself in The Washington Post today saying CNBC hung him out to dry as he was simply an actor playing a part, and that he's not an anti-semite. Howard Stern discussed the incident this morning on his show, but managed to mix up a few facts, and defended Bradshaw on the basis that everything is scripted in wrestling. Alez Marvez' latest column covers the Bradshaw incident and WWE racial stereotyping.

VikingsUpdate has an article asking whether Brock Lesnar is the next big thing as his potential value to football teams continues to rise. 1960's German heel wrestler Kurt Von Brauner died on Friday from a stroke. Former wrestler Richard "Dirty Dick" Van Slater was sentenced to a year of house arrest and two years of probation on Tuesday after pleading no contest to a count of aggravated battery for stabbing his former girlfriend in December.

There are TNA Impact! spoilers from Orlando, FL tonight. There are some backstage NWA TNA notes on Impact, Shane Douglas, the six-sided ring and Christopher Daniels' injury. NWA TNA interviewed AJ Styles about his career, the X Division, Impact and the six-sided ring.

News of the split between Ring of Honor and RF Video continued to trickle out, with ROH investor Silkin and ROH booker Gabe Sapolsky on one side and RF Video's Doug Gentry and possibly Rob Feinstein on the other. Mike Johnson has a bunch of notes on H2Wrestling including the addition of AJ Styles, Sonjay Dutt and their debut. Sonjay Dutt and Mike Tenay are off of CSWF's Independent's Day show on June 26, but America's Most Wanted may be added to the card. 3PW Champion Joey Matthews will defend his title against both Jerry Lynn and AJ Styles, replacing an injured Christopher Daniels, at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, PA on June 19.

Ole Anderson and Lanny Poffo were guests on Get In The Ring radio with Poffo discussing deaths in wrestling and his brother Randy Savage, and Anderson discussing his book, people that don't like him, and Dave Meltzer. Jack Victory was also a guest on Get In The Ring radio and discussed WORLD-1, his Secret Service gimmick, and gay wrestlers. Jack Victory's WORLD-1 is offering free training to members of the road crew which will travel extensively for house shows.
