The Orangeburg Times and Democrat has an article on Shelton Benjamin's hand fracture, which he suffered on Monday's Heat taping, as well as his recent career success and his Orangeburg roots. Vince McMahon appeared on Bob Costas' On The Record as a surprise guest in the "9 in 90" segment.

Mike "Nova" Bucci was promoted to assistant booker in OVW, possibly in preparation for him to join the WWE creative team in the future. Jimmy Snuka Jr. and Mark Magnus may move up to WWE with an Arabic gimmick, and there are rumors Alexis Laree may move up to RAW with the new name "Tina." Don Callis discusses Brock Lesnar's NFL chances in his latest column and says it reminds him of former CFL player and one-time wrestling prospect Glen Kulka.

IWA Puerto Rico wrestler Victor the Bodyguard reportedly died of a heart attack following his match today at a show in Yauco. Marty Jannetty was baptized at the Athletes International Ministries convention in Phoenix, AZ last night with his former tag partner Shawn Michaels assisting. Hulk Hogan and his daughter Brooke were briefly mentioned on this week's episode of VH1's Best Week Ever because Brooke is dating Aaron Carter.

USA Pro Wrestling was in Franklin Square, NY last night with Al Snow over D'Lo Brown to win the vacant (due to Raven's injury) USA Pro Heavyweight title. Joey Matthews retained the 3PW Heavyweight title against Jerry Lynn and AJ Styles at last night's 3PW show in Philadelphia, PA.

CZW's Best of the Best junior heavyweight tournament will take place on July 10 at ECW Arena in Philadelphia, PA, with Homicide vs. Trent Acid vs. Teddy Hart as one of the first round matches, and CZW is also working to put together a third annual Tournament of Death for some time this summer. Hawaii Championship Wrestling's Battle Hawaii 2004 on July 21 in Honolulu, HI will feature Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Kensuke Sasaki, Keiji Muto, D'Lo Brown and others. Ottawa's Universal Wrestling Alliance will debut on June 26 with Sabu vs. Joe Legend in the main event.
