Joshi puroresu star Takako Inoue is reportedly working on getting signed by WWE, going so far as to travel to Minnesota to learn an American pro-wrestling style. Brock Lesnar said on ESPN today that he regrets joining WWE and wishes he'd tried out for the NFL right away. The July 5 edition of The Star has a photo of Brooke Bollea and Aaron Carter, along with Hulk Hogan and his wife.

Fox Sports' Jeff Hammond will join the Impact broadcast team starting next week as the lead analyst. Jeff Hardy is expected to appear at next week's Impact. Ken Shamrock will make his TNA return next week, and NBA star Dennis Rodman will make a one shot appearance on next week's Impact. Charlie Haas and Jackie Gayda were spotted in the TNA Impact crowd, while Billy Gunn was backstage as were Kid Romeo and IWA Puerto Rico's Apollo. Chad Collyer and Hotstuff Hernandez worked the Impact taping without contracts.

Ring of Honor was in Essington, PA last night with American Dragon the winner of the Survival of the Fittest Six-Way Elimination match against Colt Cabana, Samoa Joe, Mark Briscoe, Homicide and Austin Aries. Ring of Honor is dropping enforcement of the Code of Honor, instead letting faces and heels use adherence to help their characters. There are several Ring of Honor notes covering the split from RF Video, angles from last night's show and the "Double Crown" title.

The Charlotte Observer has an article on the recent Lucha Libre show at Cricket Arena as the style grows in popularity in the United States. Canada's Global channel 12 will air a documentary called Wrestling with the North about the "wrestling tour from hell" - northern Manitoba in the winter. The Liverpool Echo profiled their hometown wrestler Robbie Brookside with a discussion of traditional English wrestling style. New Zealand's Dominion Post has an article on their local Wellington Pro Wrestling which is trying to bring back old-time wrestling to their area.
