The Smackdown crew was in Winston Salem, NC tonight with Eddy Guerrero/Undertake over JBL/Dudleys. Tomorrow night, the Smackdown crew will tape Thursday's show in Fayetteville, NC.

Vince McMahon did not attend the Great American Bash due to a case of diverticulitis that did not permit him to travel, however he reportedly saw the show and liked it. There are some backstage notes from the show about Paul Bearer's death angle and people filling in for Vince which included Triple H. Several former WCW wrestlers, including Billy Kidman, Rey Mysterio Jr. and Dean Malenko, discussed their Great American Bash memories with WWE.com.

Percy "Paul Bearer" Pringle's website put up a small recognition of Bearer's death saying he's "Forever Cemented In Wrestling History." 1wrestling points out that WWE may have violated their no murder policy last night with Paul Bearer's death, however WWE would likely argue that the statements apply to TV ratings not pay-per-view events. WWE's new Diva Search website has profiles with photos and videos of some of the finalists.

Kurt Angle is expected to return to the ring at or before Summerslam. Test aggravated his neck injury at Saturday's Madison Square Garden house show. WWE may be planning to repackage Garrison Cade as a Shawn Michaels inspired H. B. Cade.

ESPN.com has a lengthy article on Brock Lesnar's NFL dreams with comments from Lesnar about his decision to leave wrestling and his chances of making it. Sting: Moment of Truth, the autobiographical movie about Steve "Sting" Borden, is now available for purchase online. Jerry Jarrett, Harley Race, Terry Funk, Bill Watts, Jimmy Hart and Billy Graham will all have books coming out soon.

Mike Johnson reports that Jeff Jarrett was in Los Angeles, CA today on business, as well as the fact TNA is happy with Monty Brown and they a big push planned for Irish Pat Kenney. New York Newsday has an article on Stephanie "Trinity" Finochi covering her stunt work with a couple mentions of her work in TNA.

The Ring of Honor / RF Video split became official this afternoon which means neither side is supposed to discuss it further. Ring of Honor's Connecticut and Massachusetts promoter Jim Quinlan has resigned from his position based on the recent news regarding Rob Feinstein's continued involvement in the company. American Dragon Bryan Danielson has been signed to work all Ring of Honor shows through the August 28 event in Boston, MA where he'll face the Ring of Honor champion. The Torch has all the details on changes to Ring of Honor's Code of Honor and new Contenders Ring, as well as the ROH Reborn: Completion lineup for July 17 in Elizabeth, NJ.

There are several notes on H2Wrestling regarding their venue issues and plans for upcoming shows. Combat Zone Wrestling released more information on their third annual Tournament of Death on July 24 and their Best of the Best Tournament on July 10. Jared David St. Laurent, the great grandson of former Canadian Prime Minister Louis St. Laurent, won a Florida indy heavyweight title over the weekend and it's making news in Canada it's their election day today.

Joe Schmo 2's primary timeslot is now officially after RAW at 11:05 on Mondays. UFC and SpikeTV announced a UFC reality series similar to Tough Enough to air starting in January.
