Quick RAW Results: Eugene over Maven via DQ, Simon Dean over Hurricane, Shelton Benjamin over Captain Charisma, Chris Benoit/Chris Jericho over Triple H/Batista via DQ, Lita over Trish Stratus to win the Women's Championship.

The RAW crew was in Asheville, NC last night with Chris Jericho/Randy Orton over Triple H/Batista. The Smackdown crew was in New York City, NY yesterday with Undertaker over Heidenreich. The Smackdown crew was in Johnson City, TN tonight, and tomorrow they tape Smackdown in Greenville, SC. Several WWE wrestlers took time to make one young wrestling fan's experience a great one at the Madison Square Garden show yesterday. CW Anderson was at RAW tonight for a tryout match

WWE's Holiday Tribute To The Troops will air on the December 23 episode of Smackdown, featuring Vince McMahon and 18 wrestlers performing before the troops in the Middle East. Five WWE Superstars helped assemble USO Care Packages, some of which they'll hand deliver to troops on their trip to the Middle East. Two of the superstars were Spike Dudley, and interestingly, Ron "Faarooq" Simmons.

WWE's latest Key Business Drivers (PDF) show Survivor Series doing around 325,000 buys, down from about 460,000 buys last year. Ric Flair did a radio interview with Charlotte, NC's WFNZ on Friday and said he's close to signing a new 3 year deal with WWE. TheMat.com has an article on Kurt Angle's Olympic victory over Abbas Jadidi in 1996. Lillian Garcia sang the National Anthem for yesterday's Jets game.

There are several live reports from last night's Turning Point PPV, as well as backstage notes on Savage, "Vince McMahon," pyro problems and more. Teddy Hart was not backstage at Turning Point despite some reports that he was. Diamond Dallas Page posted a pre-Turning Point message to fans about enjoying his time in TNA, Yoga, Christmas, and more. Trinity missed last night's PPV because she's doing stunt work for Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds movie. TNA launched their Final Resolution PPV site with the poster and a preview video.

The UK's Wrestling Channel may be facing financial problems as they've attempt to change previous licensing agreements. The Wrestling Channel responded to the report of financial problems, but just to clarify the reasons they terminated their deal with TNA and not to address the other issues. Jersey All Pro Wrestling is offering a free introductory video to a thousand fans that email them. New Jersey's Herald News has an article on the Camp IWF Pro Wrestling Training Centre and the training wrestlers receive. Gene Okerlund is reportedly recovering well from his kidney transplant operation. Bret Hart was on Canada AM this morning to discuss Aladdin, plus the Toronto Sun, Canada's National Post, and CTV all have articles on his work in the play. Linda "Shaniqua" Miles is among the subjects of "This Is A Game Ladies," a documentary on the Rutgers University 2000-2001 women's basketball team.
