The Smackdown crew was in Johnson City, TN last night with Undertaker over John Heidenreich. Smackdown is being taped in Greenville, SC tonight, so spoilers, other than the Tough Enough result, should be out soon. Aaron "Jesus" Aguilera was injured at the Johnson City, TN< house show, although the severity isn't yet known. Smackdown tied for the top spot on UPN last week with America's Next Top Model at #79 overall. CW Anderson and Krissy Vain were at Smackdown tonight to give WWE a chance to look at their work.

There are off air notes and international Heat spoilers from RAW last night in Charlotte, NC. Chris Benoit and referee Jack Doan were both knocked out by Triple H's chairshots and Benoit needed a few staples for the back of his head. Matt Hardy and David Flair were both backstage at RAW since they live in the area.

New York's Newsday has an article on WWE and Playboy's efforts to reach new markets, in WWE's case by making movies. ExtendMedia issued a press release today announcing their work with WWE on improving WWE.com and future plans to revamp their corporate and affiliate marketing sites. SpikeTV will use RAW as a lead-in to their UFC reality series "The Ultimate Fighter" starting on January 17, and also plans to air the Mark Kerr documentary "The Smashing Machine."

AskMen has an interview with Chris Jericho about Fozzy, Canadian wrestlers, Vince McMahon, and more. WWE.com has an article on Jesus' prepreparation for Armageddon as he takes on John Cena in a street fight. Edge's theme song is "Metallingus" by Alter Bridge. Tough Enough's Daniel Puder opened his own website. Toro Magazine has a WWE Hanukkah Smackdown joke in their article on 24 Ways to Spice Up The Holidays.

Triple H appeared on TSN's Off The Record tonight and discussed many subjects including marrying into the McMahon family, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Chyna, Wesley Snipes, Bob Holly and more. Triple H is scheduled for Best Damn Sports Show Period tomorrow night. PWInsider has a couple fan reviews of Triple H in Blade Trinity and his new bodybuilding book. SLAM's Dale Plummer reviewed the Rise and Fall of ECW DVD and says it's great, but feel it doesn't reach its full potential because of how much stuff is left out.

Randy Savage was reportedly backstage for Impact today, but left after meeting with TNA officials and didn't appear at the taping live, leading some to believe he's done with the promotion, again. At the meeting with TNA officials, Savage reportedly asked to win the title at the January PPV but was told no and sent home. Mike Johnson has some TNA notes on a new wrestler at Impact, the X Division, and the next PPVs. Luther Reigns and Rey Mysterio Jr. were the blurred WWE wrestlers in TNA's footage shown on the PPV.

TSN aired a piece on Bret Hart last night covering his stroke and recovery as well as his return to entertainment as the Genie in Aladdin. The Korea Times has an article on the biographical movie "Yokdosan (Rikidozan)" and interview with actress Miki Nakatani who plays Rikidozan's wife Aya. Ryan Katz, the professional wrestler on TBS' "She's a Lady" reality show, discussed his experience on the show saying sometimes he thought he looked good in a dress, but never felt sexy or attractive.

WrestleReunion's website has interviews with some of the wrestling personalities attending. Jimmy Garvin has a new road story on his website about an angry armadillo. Derek Burgan reviewed two Sting books, calling Sting: The Moment of Truth a "quick read" for the "hardest of hardcore Sting fans," and Feel The Sting, a fluffy kids book.

Larry Goodman interviewed Chris Candido about his choice of wrestling as a career, promotions he's worked for, Tammy Sytch and more. PWInsider and the Torch have several Ring of Honor notes on this past weekend's show, and the promotion's upcoming plans. 3PW and PWInsider are giving away tickets to 3PW's December 18 show in Philadelphia, PA headlined by Christopher Daniels/AJ Styles vs. Low Ki/Slyck Wagner Brown.
