Smackdown in Iraq scored a 2.9 rating (5.1 Share) last week. Smackdown still managed the highest rating on UPN last week, finishing at #65 overall. WWE promoted JBL/Orlando Jordan vs. Undertaker for a post-Smackdown match tonight. New Orleans, LA's ABC ran a story on Heidenreich last night to promote tonight's Smackdown.

WWE's Royal Rumble site is now active but without much content yet. WWE posted a new commentary by JBL about WWE's trip to Iraq. Paul Heyman's profile was removed from the Smackdown superstars page.

John Cena will attend the World of Wheels in Boston, MA during its January 7-9 run. Former stripper April Veach turned over three CDs of audio conversations possibly containing details about an alleged plot to rob Jerry Lawler. Antonio Inoki is promoting an appearance by Brock Lesnar as a guest at his New Japan Pro Wrestling Tokyo Dome show on January 4, although it remains to be seen if he'll actually appear. SLAM has an article on 13 year old wrestler The Lightning Kid/Superkid and his potential future in the business.

Bill Banks posted a new Bank Show covering the holidays, Xplosion, 3 Live Kru, and the Year End Awards. TNA posted photos from A Night of Appreciation for Sabu, but none with Mick Foley for fear of upsetting WWE. PWInsider has results from Saturday's New Millenium Wrestling Sabu benefit show in East Rutherford, NJ.

ESPN Classics Canada is planning a TNA day for January. Jeff Jarrett is replacing Lex Luger on the Cyberspace Wrestling Federation show on January 8 in Wayne, NJ due to a back injury. NWA Florida promoter Ron Niemi is charged with battery stemming from an altercation with Jonny Fairplay back in June and will make a court appearance on January 7.

Nick Bockwinkel and Tom Pritchard have been added to the Wrestle Reunion convention next month in Tampa, FL. Highspots is filming shoot interviews with Bruno Sammartino and Wendi Richter at the Wrestle Reunion convention. Toyfare magazine has an interview with Ultimate Warrior about his action figures. Jimmy Hart appeared on Orlando, FL's Daily Buzz this morning to promote his new book. The Bradenton Herald has an article on artist Bill Darrah whose subjects include wrestlers like Ricky Steamboat.
