Smackdown scored a 3.4 rating last night. In the overnight ratings, Smackdown kept UPN in fifth place ahead of WB. WWE is advertising a dark match for RAW in Oklahoma City, OK on January 24 of Randy Orton/Chris Benoit/Chris Jericho vs. Triple H/Batista/Edge. In addition to joint brand shows in San Jose, CA and Anchorage, AK, WWE will run a RAW and Smackdown house show in Hawaii on February 1.

WWE held a press conference in Japan today to promote the upcoming RAW and Smackdown tapings with a Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle face-off. WWE Fanclub Japan has some photos from the press conference as does Yahoo Japan. Some additional tickets for New Year's Revolution were made available today for purchase. Stacy Keibler was featured in Puerto Rico's Primera Hora to promote New Year's Revolution.

WWE posted their WWE 24/7 February 2005 programming schedule (PDF) which includes a focus on Greg Valentine, Paul Boesch, and weddings. WWE will hold a superstar meet and greet on January 30 for Royal Rumble ticket holders. When Matt Morgan moves back to the main WWE roster, he may work under a mask.

WWE has several job openings listed on Hotjobs including staff writer. Alex Marvez spoke to Lisa "Victoria" Varon about WWE's dwindling roster of female wrestlers, new divas, and Fit Finlay. Mick Foley will take part in a charity luncheon for Windsor's Downtown Mission on January 21.

IGN has a massive preview of Wrestlemania 21 for the Xbox with details on the controls, screenshots, and arena and match lists. IGN also interviewed Batista about becoming a fan favorite, Evolution, his start in wrestling, and Sunday's PPV. Australia's Brisbane Courier-Mail has a look at Queensland's film industry which includes WWE's The Marine and Goodnight. Fozzy's video for Enemy will debut on MTV's Headbanger's Ball on February 9, while the album All That Remains hits stores on January 18.

TNA issued a statement on their website that Chris "Abyss" Park is no longer with the company. The Wrestling Channel and TNA signed a new contract to bring new episodes of Xplosion, Impact and PPVs to The Wrestling Channel starting with TNA's Turning Point PPV from December. TNA posted an updated Final Resolution PPV card. Mike Johnson has some TNA notes on action figures, Final Resolution, and Alex Shelley.

Combat Zone Wrestling returns to Philadelphia, PA tomorrow with the Messiah vs. a mystery opponent. CyberSpace Wrestling Federation's show in Wayne, NJ tomorrow includes appearances by Abyss and Jeff Jarrett, as well as Vince Russo's retirement. Jamie Noble is accepting independent bookings when he's not in Japan.

Marquee Wrestling posted the contents of the Night of Appreciation for Sabu DVD on their website. Michael Strider interviewed Bill Eadie about WrestleReunion, his start in wrestling, working under a mask, and more. Michael Strider also interviewed Kevin Sullivan about WrestleReunion, his gym, changes in wrestling, and more.

WrestleCrap is running a poll for the 2004 Gooker Award. SomethingAwful has a review of 1 Night in China starring Joanie Laurer and Sean Waltman. Johnny Croitoru's double murder arrest picked up some Canadian press coverage.
