There are Smackdown spoilers from last night in Tampa, FL. Hulk Hogan visited backstage at Smackdown last night, as did the Dudley Boys, Brian Knobbs and B. Brian Blair. NWA Florida's Bruce Steele and Antonio Banks played Kurt Angle's Smackdown security. Daniel Rodimer attended Smackdown last night and gave autographs to fans.

Anchorage, AK's Sullivan Arena posted a card for the February 6 RAW and Smackdown super show which includes two inter-brand matches as well as a RAW vs. Smackdown battle royal. WWE is using upcoming house show matches for Royal Rumble qualification. WWE continues their promotion of a barbedwire match for No Way Out in a state that has banned them.

Lita's knee surgery is scheduled for tomorrow and is expected to keep her out for eight months. Rob Van Dam is undergoing tests to determine if he'll need knee surgery. Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho are scheduled to be part of Thursday's CBC Canada for Asia fundraiser to benefit last month's tsunami victims.

New Jack's proposed WWE angle may be that he was the one who stabbed John Cena in the nightclub. NWA Florida issued a press release on WWE's decision to sign the Shane Twins to a three year deal. Paul Heyman was reportedly responsible for suggesting WWE bring in Super Crazy.

Bill Behrens and WWE reportedly failed to come to terms on a developmental terrority deal apparently because of WWE's desire for him to give up NWA Wildside. Daniel Puder and Al Snow may both be headed to OVW for training and to train, respectively. Ric Flair reportedly got in a shouting match with Victor Quinones backstage at Sunday's New Year's Revolution PPV over Quinones' treatment of his son David.

SLAM's Jon Waldman reviewed The Death of WCW and despite a few omissions, he says it's "definitely worth picking up." Mick Foley is scheduled to appear at the USA Xtreme Wrestling show on February 26 in Long Island, NY. Mick Foley's also been added to the CFE for Kids 1st Annual McLeod Children's Hospital Pro Wrestling Charity Event Beach Bash in Conway, SC on March 5. Carmella DeCesare is currently on trial for her alleged nightclub assault of Kristen Hine.

Someone in TNA claims Jeff Jarrett didn't recognize Rob Feinstein when they had their picture taken together over the weekend, however Feinstein claims that's untrue. Roddy Piper was a surprise guest on New York City's Q104 this morning as he was pulled off the street where a host saw him walking in his kilt. TNA is offering website banners to promote themselves and some of their wrestlers.

Several California independent promotions are putting on the So Cal Supercard on Saturday in Cudahy, CA featuring a King of the Death Matches tournament. Female independent wrestler Jenny Taylor is set to start training with OVW. Mike Johnson has some other indy and general wrestling notes on Hall of Fame: Tag Teams, the Mid-Atlantic Legends Convention, the Can-Am Wrestling School and more.
