Impact scored a 1.06 rating on Thursday, down from 1.16 last week, but scored a 2.1 rating among males 24-34 in the timeslot. MTV may be granting contractual releases this week to some of the wrestlers involved in their Wrestling Society X pilot, but they reportedly plan to sign others for a likely first season. The Encore Drama Network is airing documentary Lipstick & Dynamite this month. SLAM has an interview with Thomas Hackett, author of the book Slaphappy: Pride, Prejudice and Professionl Wrestling on the culture surrounding wrestling.

Barbed Wire Radio interviewed Gabe Sapolsky about CZW, Full Impact Pro, and Ring of Honor. Monday Night Mayhem interviewed Danny Doring about the return of ECW, One Night Stand, and Lita. Daniel Puder and Scott Williams were guests on Wrestling Observer Live last night with Puder discussing Tough Enough and MMA, and Williams discussing books and current events.
