WWE announced new matches for Saturday Night's Main Event. WWE posted the WWE 24/7 Online schedule for July. WWE moved the start time of the Minneapolis, MN Smackdown/ECW show on July 11 to 6:30pm. PWInsider has the pre-sale password for the WWE Madison Square Garden return on September 11.

ECW scored a 1.5 rating, down from last week but not unexpectedly low due to the 4th of July holiday. Last week's two hours of RAW finished #3 and #5 behind Broken Trail, The Closer and the BET Awards. WWE finished in 10th place among Lycos top search terms for last week.

The Ironton Tribune has an update on Rob Van Dam and Sabu noting their lawyers asked for continuances which postponed their court appearance. SLAM has an update on England's Johnny Storm and the state of British wrestling. The Boston Globe has an article on local independent wrestling. Les Thatcher's latest Wrestler's Eye View takes a look at the new ECW, fan behavior, and his generation. SLAM has a review of James Guttman's World Wrestling Insanity and calls it an "amusing look back at some of wrestling's more questionable recent calls."
