There are Smackdown spoilers from last night in Wilkes-Barre, PA. USA is looking to boost their ratings at the expense of advertising money by not pre-empting RAW on Labor Day for the US Open. ECW scored a 2.3 rating (4 share), the same as last week. Verizon is bringing FIOS to Bradenton and Manatee counties in Florida including WWE 24/7.

This week's MSG Classics features Hulk Hogan's Madison Square Garden debut. SLAM has a review of the new McMahon DVD calling it a "decent, semi-autobiographical look" at Vince McMahon. SLAM has a review of WWE's new book WWE Legends covering the careers of forty wrestlers from WWE's early period.

WWE.com spoke to Mickie James about her title loss in her first match with Lita. WWE.com has an article on Chris Jericho's new gig on Celebrity Duets debuting on August 29.
