Dr. Phil Astin was released on a $125,000 bond today following his federal indictments yesterday. The full details of the seven federal indictments against Dr. Astin were released to the media. Dr. Astin's lawyer Manny Arora denies Astin had ever prescribed steroids to Chris Benoit. When police raided Dr. Astin's office last week, he reportedly had Chris Benoit's file in his lands leading to speculation he may have tampered with the records. My Fox Atlanta is reporting that Dr. Astin has connections to other wrestlers.

WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt appeared on MSNBC's Dan Abrams Live tonight to answer questions on the Benoit situation, steroids, Fragile X and more. Last night's Nancy Grace show covered the Benoit situation for an hour with Alex Marvez, Konnan and Dr. Astin's attorney. New Jack appeared on Atlanta's WSB-TV discussing "mark doctors" that wrestlers can call anytime they need something. Steve Blackman and Marc Mero appeared on Dan Abrams Live last night discussing mark doctors, GHB, Fragile X and other developments in the Benoit case. Ted DiBiase appeared on FOX News' On the Record with Greta Van Susteren last night discussing Chris Benoit and the backstage reaction at last week's RAW to the news of the deaths.

Hulk Hogan spoke to US Magazine about the Benoits saying Nancy was into "devil-worship stuff." Warrior was not able to appear on FOX News last night due to technical difficulties, but was re-scheduled for tonight. Marc Mero appeared on Minnesota's KFAN radio discussing some of the heat he's taking for talking about problems in wrestling. The Benoit family's neighbor Holly McFague spoke to the Boston Herald about finding the bodies after police asked her to enter the home because the dogs knew her. Police don't plan to charge the 19 year-old Stamford, CT man responsible for the Wikipedia posting on Nancy Benoit's death, saying he was cooperative and that he has no link to WWE. Nancy and Daniel Benoit will have their funeral services on July 14 in Daytona Beach, FL. WWE spokesman Gary Davis said WWE got caught up in the idea Daniel Benoit had Fragile X syndrome, though it is now unclear whether that's the case. The New York Times has an article on the problems with organizations policing themselves for steroid abuse.
