WWE added MVP vs. Matt Hardy to Great American Bash. WWE signed Teddy Hart to a developmental deal with an assignment in Florida Championship Wrestling. Dealerscope has an article on WWE's battle with Harman International over the JBL trademark. wWE will throw a big party for fans in New York City, NY on Friday with Jimmy Hart, MVP, Mr. Kennedy, Miz, Maria and Jillian.

VH-1 issued a press release for the fourth season of Hogan Knows Best. Hulk Hogan called into Bubba the Love Sponge's radio show to promote the new season of Hogan Knows Best. Scott Steiner is expected to make a full recovery from his throat injury.

Some of the Benoit toxicology reports are in, but investigators are waiting for all tests to be completed before disclosing the results. CNN posted transcripts of last night's Larry King Live show and Nancy Grace show both featuring multiple wrestlers discussing the Benoit situation and drug abuse in wrestling. Matt Hardy posted a new MySpace blog entry discussing the Benoit tragedy and the media's handling of things.

Federal prosecutors are planning to seek a superseding indictment against Dr. Astin after a more thorough review of documents seized from his office. DEA agents raided Dr. Astin's office for a third time as they continue their investigation. Johnny Grunge's widow Penny Bordeau-Durham appeared on My Fox Atlanta's news to discuss her husband's death, Dr. Astin and drug problems in the wrestling industry. Penny Bordeau-Durham also says the idea Daniel Benoit had Fragile X syndrome is ridiculous as Nancy Benoit would have told her.

The Baltimore Sun has an article on Rep. Cliff Stearns of Florida's interest in a Congressional investigation of steroids in wrestling. Jose Conseco appeared on Joe McDonnell's radio show last night dismissing the idea "roid rage" played a role in the Benoit tragedy. ESPN's Around the Horn covered whether there should be another wrestling steroid investigation.
