WWE.com reports that Edge was ordered to relenquish his title by Teddy Long on Smackdown due to a pectoral injury suffered last week, with a new champion crowned via a battle royal. Edge was reportedly disappointed with the timing as he was expected to have a long title run. Edge will require surgery for his injury and is expected to miss four months as a result.

The Diva Search is expected to return this fall with a casting call next month in Los Angeles, CA. WWE has a series of Six Flags appearances scheduled leading up to Summerslam. SouthAfrica.info has a story on WWE's upcoming visit to the country.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Georgia's Chief Medical Examiner held a press conference today with Fayettesville County District Attorney Scott Ballard announcing the result of the Benoit toxicology reports. The Torch posted a detailed breakdown of the drugs found but in summary, Chris Benoit was found with testosterone cypionate, Xanax and Hydrocodone in his system, while Nancy Benoit had Xanax, Hydrocodone and Hydromporphone in her body due to recent major surgery, and Daniel Benoit had Xanax in his system, probably administered by Chris Benoit. WWE issued a statement on the toxicology report findings emphasizing he had passed his last steroids test in April.

The Associated Press ran a story on the findings with the headline Steroids Found in Pro Wrestler's Body. MSNBC's Dan Abrams' show covered the toxicology report with Steve Blackman, Marc Mero, Jerry McDevitt and several doctors. Greta Van Susteren's show and Nancy Grace's show also spent time this evening discussing the toxicology report.
