There are off air notes from RAW last night in Tucson, AZ. WWE's next Saturday Night's Main Event is expted to air on August 18 at 11:30 pm. USA Network's July ratings were down from last year due in part to WWE's ratings decline.

Bobby Lashley suffered a shoulder injury, likely a torn rotator cuff, several months ago and worked through the pain, with last night's angle to explain his needed time away. Bobby Lashley will meet with Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, AL tomorrow for diagnosis. Jeff Hardy was sent home from RAW by WWE and his program with Umaga was dropped.

The Tennessee Titans say Pacman Jones won't be allowed to wrestle for TNA due to his contract, which prohibits him from taking part in an activity that might cause injuries. Jones' agent revealed that TNA approached Jones weeks ago, and an official announcement may be made soon. Jimmy Hart was very critical of TNA's decision to bring in Jones.

SLAM collected recollections of some of the wrestlers who knew Karl Gotch, with some showing admiration and a few not. CNN interviewed Kanyon for their documentary on the wrestling industry.
