The Los Angeles Times posted WWE's response to the Chris Benoit findings, which tries to downplay the report. The Charleston Daily Mail has a story on local WVU Department of Neurosurgery Director Dr. Julian Bailes who was the lead neurosurgeon investigating Chris Benoit's brain. Rob Van Dam was a guest on Joe McDonnell's radio show discussing the latest Chris Benoit news, extreme moves, flying and more. Chris Kanyon is unhappy with WWE's handling of the Benoit findings and calling for a boycott. The Palm Beach Post reported that Ric Flair and Paul Wight were sent packages by a Tampa, FL clinic that supplied wrestlers with steroids according to a clinic employee.

TNA is teasing a major announcement for Sunday's No Surrender, which may be an expansion to two hours for Impact or a new signing. TNA's Will Barton, who managed ShopTNA.com, left the company. TNA may have their first international tour this November in Tel Aviv, Israel, as tickets accidentally went on sale prematurely before things were finalized.

The UK's Sun spoke to UFC's Dana White about Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle's potential within UFC. Chris Jericho's book tour starting next month added a couple new dates.
