Ric Flair was pulled from the NWA Hall of Fame induction ceremony scheduled for Saturday in Atlanta, GA due to unspecified reasons by WWE. John Cena and Michelle McCool appeared on the Best Damn Sports Show Period last night discussing current sports topics and current happenings in WWE. The New Zealand Herald interviewed Kane about why he wrestles, being a veteran, changes to wrestling and more. A story on a lawsuit against Steve Austin turned out to be regarding someone else named Steve Austin and not the wrestler.

Los Angeles' Joe McDonald interviewed Vince McMahon following yesterday's press conference about the reasons for the contest and WWE's current product. Multichannel News has an article on WWE's million dollar giveaway with comments from USA Network. Yahoo's pickup of the AP story on WWE's million dollar giveaway slowed down WWE.com yesterday.

Sports Illustrated included WWE's "$20 million" payday for Floyd Mayweather in their calculation of the 50 highest earning US athletes. Dwayne Johnson will be appearing at the Apple Store in Santa Monica, CA on Saturday with Peter Segal to discuss Get Smart. 1978 wrestling movie The One and Only was released yesterday and features a young Roddy Piper.

James Guttman interviewed Paul Roma about Triple H, Ric Flair, Vince McMahon and others. Carlos Colon will be honored at this year's Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City. Terri Runnels is sponsoring the Make the World Write writing contest with a $100,000 prize for the winner to use to make the world a better place. Tito Santana's autobiography is due out for release soon. Blackjack Mulligan is expected to release his autobiography via his website later this month.
